Greater Western Water mains is treated and generally safe to drink. People still fit a whole house unit for chlorine taste, sediment, older pipes, rainwater blended into the house, a bore, or a PFAS test report. An under-sink filter is enough if you only want better water at the kitchen tap.

## Showroom and licensed install

Bring a water sample or a photo of the meter. Cabinets on display are matched to the water, then isolation and a pressure-limiting valve are quoted if the street is over 500 kPa. Installation is after the meter on the cold line.
